When Florent Staes acquired Bordet, his e-commerce site was using Power Boutique, acquired at the same time by Oxatis. The platform was aging and reaching the end of its useful life. He naturally studied the various options available to him, and Oxatis proved to be the best solution for the needs of Bordet’s online sales site.

A new way of working with Shippingbo
When Florent decided to manage his logistics with Shippingbo software, he discovered a new way of handling customer orders and managing inventory. A major advantage: the application is integrated with the Oxatis solution, enabling real-time feedback of stock and order information.
But that’s where the automation stops, and Florent feels that the Oxatis platform could go further in automating invoicing and order tracking tasks. The idea of a specific development is therefore being discussed with his contacts.

Shippingbo’s native integration with Oxatis was a major asset for this project, as the two software packages were already connected, and Oxatis automatically received the logistical information required for the automation sought by Bordet.
The Oxatis teams therefore successfully completed this specific technical development project. Upon receipt of order status information from Shippingbo, the Oxatis platform must automatically implement the following actions:
- Initiate customer invoicing with automatic status modification, and send the invoice by e-mail to the customer.
- Follow-up on invoicing status.
At the same time, the SEO and SEA traffic management service provided by Oxatis, then LUNDI MATIN when Oxatis was acquired, has continued, taking care to retain Florent’s usual contacts, who have a perfect grasp of the challenges facing his e-commerce site and remain alert to changes in search engine algorithms.
The results
Since the implementation of these specific functionalities, the team responsible for monitoring sales on the website has been freed from a large number of time-consuming tasks with little added value.
Between saving time and increasing skills, Bordet’s online sales have doubled while keeping the same number of employees, thanks to the automation of invoicing tasks.
In addition, thanks to SEO and SEA services, the Bordet site has kept up with the times and gained in search engine rankings.
